Product Installation
Before You Begin
The Seagate Crystal Reports Report Designer Component is
automatically installed as part of the default installation of Seagate Crystal Reports 7.
The Report Designer Component has been designed for be installation on the Microsoft
Windows platform using either Windows« 95/98 or Windows« NT 3.51 or higher as the
operating system. The Report Designer Component does not support Windows 3.1
(16-bit) development.
| Note | This guide assumes that Microsoft Visual Basic 5.0 or 6.0 is properly installed on your system and that you have a working knowledge of programming in this environment. |
Installation
Requirements
The Report Designer and associated support files have the following installation
and run time requirements:
Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98 or Windows NT 3.51 (Intel) or higher
Microsoft Visual Basic 5.0 or 6.0 (Professional or Enterprise Edition)
Netscape Navigator« or Microsoft Internet Explorer« (Version 3.0 or higher)
Hard drive free space: approximately 33 MB (RDC only)
CD-ROM drive
If your system does not meet these requirements, the program may not operate correctly.
